Anemia: What is K/DOQI?

The National Kidney Foundation gathers kidney disease experts who look at all the research done about certain aspects of kidney disease. Then, they write up guidelines to help doctors better monitor and manage patients with kidney disease. The project is called the Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative (K/DOQI).
