What is MyPHRSC?

MyPHRSC stands for My Personal Health Record South Carolina. It is a Medicare pilot that involves the use of an on-line Personal Health Record (PHR), which will allows people with Medicare the ability to access and collect information about their health or health care services, such as medical conditions, hospitalizations, doctor visits and medications. MyPHRSC is being offered to beneficiaries with original (fee-for-service) Medicare in the State of South Carolina. Medicare beneficiaries there have the opportunity to have a PHR populated with their own Medicare claims data. Medicare will ensure that strict privacy and security safeguards are in place to protect all beneficiary data. Participation in the pilot is totally voluntary. If you are a resident of South Carolina, you can sign up now or find more information about the pilot at www.MyPHRSC.com.
