What can I do so that my spouse and I only receive one copy of the Handbook?

In order to receive only one copy of the Medicare and You Handbook, you will need to call 1-800-Medicare (633-4227). A Customer Service Representative will be able to assist you. They will ask for your Health Insurance Claim Number which is found on your red, white, and blue Medicare Card. You will also be asked additional information such as your name and address. Once this is completed your household will receive only one Medicare and You Handbook per year. In the future if you wish to receive more than one handbook you will need to call back so your records can be updated.
