QuestionLong:
Nursing Home Compare does not contain the most recent inspection results for my nursing home. Why is this?

Nursing Home Compare is updated every month. Every attempt is made to assure that the most recent survey results are available on this Website. The data comes from Medicare's Online Survey, Certification and Reporting (OSCAR) database which is updated by the State Survey Agencies. Nursing Home Compare reports the latest survey results that the State Survey Agencies enter into the OSCAR database. Surveys are generally conducted every 9-15 months. If the survey results listed are older than 15 months, this may mean that the most recent survey results have not yet been sent to us from the State Survey Agency. You may contact your State Survey Agency or the nursing home directly to obtain a copy of the most recent survey results. Their phone number is listed in the Nursing Home Compare search results pages, or you can find their phone number in the Helpful Contacts section on Medicare's Website.
