QuestionLong:
How do I file a claim (bill) with my secondary insurance after Medicare processes my claim, if my provider will not file the claim for me?

Some Medicare Carriers have contracts with various private insurance companies to automatically forward claim information after Medicare processes the claim, but this is not required and it does not apply to all insurance plans. You should contact your secondary insurance plan directly to find out if they have a contract with your local Medicare Carrier to automatically have your claims forwarded to them as the secondary insurance carrier. If they do not have a contract, they will provide you with instructions on how to submit a claim to your secondary insurer after Medicare sends you a Medicare Summary Notice.
