Dialysis Adequacy: Guidelines.

The measure on Dialysis Facility Compare that looks at dialysis adequacy is based on a project run by the National Kidney Foundation. This Foundation gathers kidney disease experts who look at all the research done about certain aspects of kidney disease. Then, the experts write guidelines to help doctors better treat and monitor patients with kidney disease. The project is called the Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative (K/DOQI).
